9 days ago, the last Volvo V70 rolled off the production line in Torslanda, Sweden. The model name lasted for 20 years, and 1 250 000 were produced.

It’s in my view one of the few icons in the car industry lately because of its focus on functionality, but also because it managed to do it in style and comfort. Even in its last years the V70 was among the best selling cars in Sweden and Norway.

Let’s hope the V90 can continue in the same manner.

Mum and Dad have had two, a regular V70, and currently Dad’s DD is a R. The R has a turning radius of a aircraft carrier, but boy is it some fun to drive.
